Reflection and Gratitude.
I heard that gratitude is the way. That was a few years back and i truly only understood the definition of gratitude in the past tense. Once I started to actively find stillness and allow room for gratitude in the present, I was able to understand what they meant by, "Gratitude is the way." Another quote that I have been hearing over and over again in the recent weeks is, "Comparison is the thief of joy." What about self comparison? Or is that just considered your reflection? I ask myself when is the time to reflect? I remember in grade school when at the end of the chapter we were learning that week we would reflect upon what was learned. Maybe this reflection of self is actually the understanding of what was learned and the processing of what steps were taken and if you could've done something in a different way. I can tell you this, I am grateful to have this opportunity of reflection. Thank you for your time and presense.
